I recently bought a AS2250XT and I installed the 88 gram co2 and it leaked out completely which was a frustrating experience.
Looks to be missing the co2 seal. I did my research and called Crosman and they haven’t carried that seal for 7 years.
Anyone have any ideas???? I really would like to start shooting this.
Thanks.

I think a -112 o-ring should work. Pretty sure that's the one that's in the hammerli 850 fitting.

Rich Thankyou so much. I will order some right now. I appreciate it. :)

Lowes or HD carry Danco and I think that would be a #10 if you wanted to pic them up local. they are 1/2"ID x 11/16"OD

I just ordered 5 of them. Pretty excited to not leak 9 dollar 88 grams again.

Well that didn’t work. Haha. Any more ideas??

What happened? Shohld be the correct size. Wrong material or hardness?

Or is you're one of the ones that doesn't use an o-ring, but a flat seal in bottom?

The o ring seems to big.
I’m not sure. It seems as though there is a notch for the o ring in the fitting.
What was there was so degraded that I could not tell what the material was.
The person I bought it from said he got it new 15 years ago. I don’t know enough about these to know if the used o rings or flat washers back then.

Are you sure it is leaking from that spot/seal or are the valve seals leaking or valve steam leaking? I am sure there is more than one place it could leak from.

The oring will "seem" big, but I was able to use a punch and push it down into the "groove" in bottom.
-
Ok I will mess with it in a bit.

It’s such a large leak where the 88 gram attaches that I wouldn’t be able to check for other leaks yet. I would not be surprised if they was more leaks but this is the first thing I need to straiten out.
Also whatever seal belongs there is clearly missing completely.

I don't have any experience with the AS2260XT but I would try to replace all the seals at once instead of potentially wasting a 88gr for each seal. Hopefully someone can tell you if there are current part numbers for like seals that are obtainable. Many airguns that Crosman doesn't sell seals for anymore they use those same seals in current airguns still so if you know the current part number of the seal you can still get it from them.
It is "funny" that the manual page says they have parts for the AS2260XT still so I guess they haven't updated that in seven years.

I would like to replace all the seals. I was hoping I would bump into someone who loved these guns on here and help me out with what I need for the rebuild.
GMAC stocks a kit but it’s unavailable. :/

Looks like GMAC has some individual seals and so does JGAIRGUNS https://www.jgairguns.biz/as2250xt-c-78_89_132/ (https://www.jgairguns.biz/as2250xt-c-78_89_132/)

I did notice GMAC had some random ones. I will check out your link.
I feel like the valve must be sealed to the tube. If so I bet disco o rings would work for that.
I’m probably wrong. Haha.
I over paid for this one on eBay recently but wanted it bad enough to do so. I had one 8 years ago and ended up selling it off. I think that the person before me hacked that one up if I remember correctly.
I know a guy who had one up for sale a while back if you want me to put you in contact?

What I did on a crosman 700 when I needed that flat amber colored seal was took apart a few crosman co2 pistols until I found one close enough.
Another thought is they make adaptors with a check valve so you could simply unscrew without loosing all air. The adapter will have a seal that might work too.
-
Contact Rick @ Precision Pellet and ask him to put a re-seal kit together for you.

I will try and find that adapter. Is it something that screws to the 88 gram?

I will do that. Thanks for the good idea.

On my 88gr that i ended up refilling, i used an on/off adapter to make that possible. The brass one you can still buy but the black one I think is not available anymore. With on/off you don't waste co2 in case of AG leaks. eBay > https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brass-Made-paintball-Inner-Thread-CO2-Tank-On-Off-Valve-with-1500-Psi-Gauge/113757591673 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brass-Made-paintball-Inner-Thread-CO2-Tank-On-Off-Valve-with-1500-Psi-Gauge/113757591673)

Thankyou. I appreciate that.

I got the o ring to fit. I feel like a ding dong for not trying harder.
Dan I used approx 600 psi of air to test the seal. It seems to have sealed well. As you suggested the other seals failed right away. I’m glad I didn’t use that 88gram. Haha
I will contact Rick at precision pellet to see about a rebuild kit.

The main reason I have not gotten one yet is I am a cheapskate looking for a deal and stubborn about it. LOL

Good job for savin on the C02

Hi Melvin I have one of those and had to reseal it a year ago. I got an adapter off ebay that screws into the 88gr port and loads a 12gr bottle in the rear. It was great for testing for leaks and gets about 35/40 shots off of it. I bought it new, I still have the orig. 88 gr bottle and box that came with it. I collected seals and o-rings for it for years, the worst ones are the ones on the front to rear transfer tube. Good luck buddy. Geno

That’s where I believe the new leaks to be. I ordered on of those 88 to 12 gram adapters a few days ago. Waiting for it now.
So you happen to know what size the seals on the side are so I could order a couple?

Cool, thought that should be the one

Hi Melvin If I am remembering correctly I ended up using nylon washers on it at the tube fittings. I think they were a Lowes item and I heated all of the parts with a heat gun after loosely assembling them and then snugged them up hot. Geno

Geno I’m glad to know that this is an option. Thankyou.

Just ordered the seal kit from Rick at precision air.
Thank you all for commenting and Thank you all for your help. I really appreciate it.
Hopefully my next post on this thread will be that I’ve got it working as new. :).

Hi Melvin, they had a seal kit for that gun? I dont think its been manufactured in twenty years. I got mine new at K-mart over twenty years ago. I guess I should get me a kit "Just In Case" I live forever. LOL Let me know how that works out please. Thanks Geno

He did have a kit for this gun. Think it was 26 bucks. I was surprised too so I threw a few questions at him to make sure it wasn’t just a 2250 kit. He knew what he was talking about and obviously knows more than I do about it.
I will keep the tread updated Geno. :)

Rick has been servicing ancient and modern Crosman's for a long time. He probably has more seal kits and parts than anyone could need. And reasonable prices too.

He puts the seal kits together himself.
It seems to have worked fine. I will check pressure on it tomorrow to see if it’s still holding.
