I have a 350 mag that a friend of a friend wants to buy. I'd like to keep the Leapers 3x9 that's on it for another rifle and put on a spare RWS 3-9x40 AO that I have around prior to the sale. Just want to be sure the 350 mag doesn't trash the scope.
Think we'll be OK?

That's a tough call. The latest RWS scopes don't seem to be holding up too well on heavy magnum springers. I probably would not choose one for that gun, myself.

I got two on 34's no problems , but thats alot more gun. :-\ May last long enough untill he gets a better one.

If you're up front that it's only a starter scope that should be okay for a while, (it may last him for quite a while), and that the 350 is powerful, I don't think there'd be a problem. Up Front is best. You can add that you are really giving him the scope, for the price you are asking for the 350...assuming you have a good price on it. That way he doesn't feel that he has lost anything if it does fail.
