Hey Liz,
This is pretty basic, but how do I show that a gun is SOLD on the GTA Classifieds?
Since I don't have the ability to modify the ad, how is a change in status made?
Thanks, Kirk

Report it to the moderator as sold and one will take care of it.

Kirk, the rules for the classifieds SHOULD pop up when you try to start an ad. You have to accept them to proceed. They are also posted in the Classified Gate for review.

The rules explain everything required before, during and after an ad is placed. Everyone should take a look and be familiar with them.
But to answer your question, whenever an item is sold, traded, found, changed your mind or the ad needs editing, simply click on the Report to moderator tab. In the report tell what you need done and why.
SAFE & Happy Shooting!!!!

Thanks Dave,
IIRC, I used to be able to modify my ad to mention it'd been sold, but that was a few years ago.
I haven't re-read the rules and will do so. I clicked on the moderator button yesterday, but was under the impression any comments were for "rule breaking" reporting --- my bad :P
