Title: Benjamin Bulldog hammer spring adjustment.

I have a super tuned Bulldog.  3500 PSI fill, and hammer spring turned down to 1/2 turn out from maximum giving me 300 FPE.  The tuner set it to 2 1/2 turns out and the velocity dropped the energy to 250 FPE.
My question is, will tightening the hammer spring damage the valve or other parts of the gun?

It will not damage it but you may end up with some binding if turned in too far.
