Title: Pretty nice bipod under $40 on Amazon.

I have been looking for a bipod which folds at 45 and 90 degrees.  The others I have are up or down and don't go low enough for me.  I found this one om Amazon.  I set it up today and it works nicely so far.  This looks well made and durable operates smoothly.  I believe the wetght is less than 1 oz heavier than the Magpul.

They are nice bipods after you do some work to them. I have three of them. They are the Atlas China knock off.

Also they are much cheaper on ebay.

 I have been looking for a "rail mount" bipod for the Kratos. Locally I can only find sling swivel versions.

I've also been looking at this bipod:

I understand/like the concept of "below the apex" bipods and would like to see if they're more stable than standard bipods.  The only problem is, they're ALL super expensive.  Until I found the "Gen2" Atlas clone linked above.  I'm gonna give it a whirl, hopefully in December.

Back_Roads,

The o-ring fix looks quite good and I'll try it on my next purchase. I removed the guts and added a spacer and it's rock solid but his fix looks very good.

The ones I found on ebay were a couple bucks  more than Amazon units linked here.

FYI.. Cyclops also did a review but don't go there if you do not like strong language. ;)
