The rats were out earlier, so I set up and waited. They didn't show, but a HOSP did, so just to confirm POI was still on point, I took the shot. It was...

Then two of them showed up. I didn't want to take the big one, but the smaller one didn't really give me a clear shot, so he'll live for another day. At one point they were lined up one right in front of the other! You don't know how hard it was NOT to take that shot and get a twofer!

the shot on the hosp was funny as heck! that is the most animated dead thing i've ever seen!
that sir is an all time classic.

He landed about 3 feet behind where he was standing when I shot him! Those Hades seem to pack a real punch!

Nice one Paul !
-
Good shooting! How come you didn't shoot the big fat rattus?
-
Paul, super shot on the HOSP...almost came right out of its feathers! LOL! I really have no idea how you DID NOT pull the trigger on the two’fer! Kudos to you and I hope more rats come feeding because of that 🤓👍.

Holey Snackbar Paul,
That Hosp turned a Phartt knocker from that hit, How fast are you pushing it? 8) 8)
Great shot, and you done GOOD on not thumping those Ratus, I know it's hard, but you can get thru it,
Remember that Yellow Brick Road with the 2 fat Tour guides.................... ;)
Keep watching and waiting, your chance will come..................... ;D
Watching from the side lines..................
Thanks,
Don

That Crown is pushing those Hades right at 900 fps! It gives them a pretty good smack down. I almost pulled the trigger, especially when the two of them were one right in front of the other... My finger was on the trigger and it was twitching! :P Then this voice popped into my head and it was singing something about a yellow brick road... ;D

It's all Don's fault! LOL! You know I wanted to! Had the one that's been coming from the right side showed up, he'd a been thumped, but he kept his distance. The the smaller one from the left kept hiding behind big Bertha and I couldn't't get a good shot, so he got a pass. Taking the HOSP outa his feathers helped scratch the itch, so it was a little easier to let them go, this time... :D
Great shot Paul !!!
Nice one Paul !
Thanks Wayne and Dave!

This guy was at the fence feeding station this morning, but by time I was set-up and opened the window to take a shot, he was headed for the back woods!

Was that shot with the 25 cal? It sure put the smack down on that Hosp............. 8)
Did your UV light come yet?
I am curious as to how many Yellow Brick Roads you have around your bait station............. ;)
Thanks,
Don

No sir! That was a 15.89 grain, .22 caliber JSB Hades pellet! Apparently, Amazon does not feel my UV light is as essential as we do, it's not scheduled to be delivered until May 1st! :o
-
Paul,
There are easier ways to find out the twist rate of the barrel rather than popping a hosp and seeing how many turns it makes over a set distance. LOL
Sweet video & great shoot too. The rats will get their turn at the shooting gallery soon enough.

I will only give it a 9.50. The landing wasn't so clean.
;D
