Title: Looking for help
Post by: Hildy on April 15, 2020, 08:49:28 PM
Hey there, brand new to the world of airguns and could really use some help getting started.  I have a Air Arms 200T that I sort of came into possession of by accident.  It looks like it would be a lot of fun but I know absolutely nothing about this sport.  First off, this gun has the air tank mounted under the barrel and it screws right off...I need to know what I need to do to get that air tank charged with air.  I would sincerely appreciate any help or advice anyone can give me.

"The air tank should have the AA t-slot fill probe. Air Arms Fill Adapter... and you need the adapter Air Venturi Male Quick-Disconnect, 1/8".... That will click right into the foster on the pump."

If it has a pressure gauge at the end of the tube, it's one that was made to fill from the rear end.....you unscrew it, screw it into a fill adaptor, and fill it that way.   The ones with the front fill adaptor and no air guage have a fill fitting on the front end of the tube.

Over the years, that front end fill fitting has changed a few times....would need a picture to be sure which one.

AND...the fill-from-the rear (gauged tanks) often came with a brass fitting (the one still shown on various sites)...but it was made to screw into an air tank fitting and needs to be adapted to a foster fitting for most folk's actual uses.

EITHER (the one with the gauge or the one with no gauge) can be filled with a rear fill fitting.

I'll hunt up a photo or link if it helps.

Mine are both fill from the rear.  And what is a foster?
Thank you for reaching out.

check out this site it has good info on the gun
be aware this looks to be a 180 bar Max fill as per the Gauge.
the Adapter looks to be a 200 DIN adapter that should fit a SCUBA tank that has a 200 DIN Valve.
