hey guys.
I picked up my .25 cal black condor from cobra on thursday and my rainstorm which was getting power tuned by Mike.
The condor .25 made a hole through a metallic door i have in my basement, where both rainstorm and 22 condor didnt make any.The 43 grains eun jin fit in the barrel but are too tight. >:(
Just thought i should share,Shoot safe guys ;D

Great chioce ,you are gonna love the .25,s power and accuratecy...the 43gr,s eun jins are also tight on my condor .25 so i stay away till i could get feedback however the previous owner used them..im using jsbs 25 gr and so far its shown great results ...i shot indoors at my friends warehouse out to 40 plus yds however i rather go north to shot longer distances with this beast cause anything closer will definitely penetrate .... enjoy and shot safe ..jorge

I've personally found that my .25 cal likes the 6.4 mm head diameter pellets. If yours likes smaller pellets go with a 6.3mm head diameter. Just a suggestion.

jorge ,i shoot indoor in my basement and recently in my gf backyard.i will order some jsb 25 soon.i only have eun jin 35 and 43 grains.
Matt,thanks for the advice.

Well your .25 Condor has 75-80fpe with the heavy Eun Jin's. The Rainstorm is 40-45fpe, the Condor .22 around 60-65fpe, so .25 Condor will go through things the others can't. The only question is, why would you shoot your door? :)
The 43gr EunJins are almost 0.252" in diameter. The Condor's Lothar Walther barrel shoots 0.250-0.251" pellets the best, but some Condors like the heavy EunJins. My Condor .25's do just OK with all of the Eun Jin .25 pellets. They like the JSB 25.4gr Kings, 26gr Predators, and Kodiaks the best in that order. My .22 Condor does pretty good with the 28.4gr EunJin's but the Kodiaks and 18.1gr JSB's are more accurate.

Are you guys talking about mine? Sorry I didn't mean to hijack the thread with my signature :D

thanks brothers.i really love the shoot count of the rainstorm ...
Harry, lol, how does your 25 talon tunes condor shoot compared its stock version?
-
It shoots about 10 to 15fpe stronger, depending on the pellet. It's slightly louder (the hammer slap/"ping"), a little more recoil, etc. You know, the usual side-effects when you have a power-tuned gun, but VERY accurate. Probably the same accuracy as my other Condors though. They are all accurate.
Having had a fully-tuned Talon Tunes gun, and comparing it to my other "more stock" Condors, I have come to the conclusion that $450 for the full-tune with the extras (not including the shroud) is not worth it. The only thing that is noticeable and beneficial is the slightly better trigger. All the other mods don't do as much, if anything, at least I can't tell, except for the added power. The hammer-slap mod, the O-ring mod (inside the valve), the vented frame, vented bushings, (mated breach slide, polished breach, etc.), heavy durometer breach o-rings, etc.. probably help somewhat. I just can't tell. The gun is maybe slightly more quiet at the same power as the other Condors. The only thing you will be able to tell is probably the trigger and the safety which he polishes a little, and the extra power for sure. But my other Condors have very nice triggers from the factory, and are also plenty powerful in stock form.. so I am not a big proponent of all those mods - for the money. If the tune cost $200-250 then yes, but at twice as much, I just don't see it. The difference is barely noticeable for all that $. The Condor is more than fine to shoot out of the box. If you need extra power, just throw in a heavier hammer and you are done, but I would not go over 90 grams.
One accessory that is a MUST, is a good shroud because they are very loud for backyard shooting, and the tri-rail is really good and inexpensive, to strengthen the frame and raise the scope.

Thanks for all the great onfo Harry.i think i'll just get the 90gr hammer i saw on talontunes. The recoil is fine with me,i like shooting my stoeger.A full tune of 450$ is pretty high is i consider the fact that i live in the city and have to get out to ship, receive and will just shoot in my basement or gf backyard...not worthed it.
The trigger of the condor is not that bad, considering that i shoot the rainstorm, lol.
Honestly i only shhot it twice in my basement, that thing is loud as *(&^ without a shroud.Waiting for scope,shroud...will click on tri-rail now.
thanks brother....for all the great advices.
