Out planting some trees this morning and noticed a lot of pest birds out. I took this yellow beak at aprox 40 yards in a tree. His buddy sitting next to him enjoyed the show. :):)

as i was reading this post a yb scared chased a woodpecker from one of the suet cakes i have hanging in the yard. i ran upstair and loaded the 2400kt but as i opened the window, it flew off. but now i'm ready for it. ;)

I wondered what that meant. I’ve shot some in the past where there beaks were real dark. Just figured it was because they were juveniles.
