Hi all,

Here we are, my son and I went out on our first hunt of the year. It was trial and error for many things. The Tactacam 5.0 HD worked like a charm, but I didn't. I would start to record a shot but forgot to turn it off. So the next "Start" for the next shot was truly a stop. So we missed half of our videos.
First time trying the Hades to hunt. Oh boy, they are nasty on impact. The sound, the thwack, the wound cavity!!! Sad that the camera couldn't record the sound. We saw a few pass-through on starlings in the upper neck, head area. But, the exit is twice as big as what the King would do on starlings. We haven't witnessed any pass-through on pigeons.
Sorry for the low-quality video, we are just starting to put things together while having a lot of fun. ;)

Great video Eric, nice shooting and showing real life shots too. You'll get the camera operations down with experience.

I sure hope so. I wish the Tactacam could catch the sound of the Hades impacting

Thanks Tom, my son and I did two head shots, one the top of the skull was gone and the other one was at the base of the head and that almost cut the head off.

Thank Ranchibi, the difference with the normal pellets is incredible. They are definitively my hunting pellets from now on.

I just need to get a mic to be able to add voice over instead of the pages of texts. I also need to get a better video edition software instead of the default windows video editor

Great video! Not only do I need to try the Hades but I think I need a scope cam now! 😂

Good real world shooting Papy, you’re a lucky man to be able to share and pass it on to your son. Enjoy the video and am partial to the Aztec Emerald, love mine. Am interested in your impressions of the Tactacam.

Pesting sure is FUN !  Tho was nervous on some of the earlier shots with a COW in background clearly in line with the shot ???

Well done especially with a new camera. Watch those bovines, I shoot in a spot pretty much like that and they try to get in the way 😂.

Yup, I saw that too... especially with them .25s

I know I need to pay attention to way out background.  Even though that one was 130-150 yards away.  It could have hurt.  :(

Thanks. They do that for sure, that why one of us is not looking through there scope and check on curious cows
