Title: 26.8 gr. NSA @ 910 fps, 50 fpe. .458" Expansion!!!

This is my new favorite round...when over-penetration isn't an issue.  Taipan Veteran loves them...super accurate.

Hit the squirrel in left eye socket.  Exited out skull and blasted through spine.  From there it slid under skin to hip area.  The angle allowed recovery of the slug.

Of course it was instant lights out.

You got excellent expansion with that Nielsen Slug and you have a great gun to shoot them in.

Impressive expansion!  I have never seen a squirrel absorb 50fpe without a passthrough regardless of the angle, in my 12.5 years on the Hunting gate.  That's a testament to the superior hollow point design of the NSA slug.
