can you imagine having to wait down in a hole until Christmas before they have a hole drilled to get them? it's gonna smell pretty bad down there if it doesn't already.

They've already drilled 2-3 additional holes, each about 6" in dia. - They send down food, water, medicine, lights & batteries, books, cd's etc, - including pumping down fresh air. One is a diabetic, ... could become a big problem. They can walk around a couple of nearby mine shafts, - but it's unsafe because of the danger of collapse. One nearby shaft is being used as the toilet area, - not the area they're trapped in.
