Has anyone ever used the plastic shotshells for pistols in their big bore airguns. I was going to order a few and try them in my Career 202s for Dove season.

Hey cfx
I've been pondering the same thing and what i thought i'd try is a .45(sam yang 909) sabot for blackpowder muzzleloaders as the shot cup, lined with thin rice paper rolled inside the sabot to keep the shot from falling through the petals, cardboard wad to keep the shot from rolling out the barrel.
The only pistol shotshells i've ever seen still had a metallic shell casing right? Expand on your idea if you don't mind? Jeff

Actually, you can buy just the plastic shot capsules.
They are sold by CCI.
Here is an example of what he is talking about:

Lots of guys use them for snakes and extreme close range varmint destruction.

The ones in Midwayusa are the ones I saw that gave me the idea. They are all plastic and are designed to shatter upon firing. They are empty cups and I can fill them with whatever I want like salt rocks for hard headed deer or number 9 shot for close range stuff like snakes and birds.

Holy Cow, Look at those! http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=682652 (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=682652) Thanks for the link.
Definitely going to give those a try. J
