I think I got them all.  Not so sure about the other Red's hobo.  Did the names start with a P and an S?  Jackie Gleason had one, too, so I might have them mixed up.  To paraphrase The Great One, "Mmmmmmmm......How sweet it WAS!"

And he NEVER drank tea out of the tea cup.

Clem K. hung out with Gertrude and Heathcliff.  Buddy went down in flames.  Sputnick launched the American space race.  Shoop Shoop HulaHoop - Whamm-O's first big toy hit, along with, as I recall, the Water Wiggle and the Slip and Slide.

It wasn't just Buddy Holly in that plane.  It was also Richie Valens (sp? "LaBamba") and The Big Bopper.

"Look sharp!  Stay sharp!  Be sharp!"  (Which was, I believe, actually sung in B sharp.)  Gillette's Friday Night Fights.

To look sharp, you should shave Gillette
To feel sharp, you should shave Gillette
To be sharp, you should shave Gillette
It's the closest shave a man can get!

Yep, Red was two of the world's most famous clowns.  I'll bet you Freddie never cashed a welfare check in his entire life.  He did like a fine cigar, though.

I missed Freddy the Freeloader. All I could think of was Willie Lumplump. Also missed the burning draft cards, I was thinking American flag. Oh well, not bad for someone born about a week before JFK was shot!    ;D
