This might help some folks, (or just cause them to spend more money... ;)). My Christmas present this year was a Custom Shop 1322. Had it made with the carbine stock, long steel breech, and 14” Crosman barrel. Accuracy was poor at first, but improved after a couple barrel cleanings and a hundred or so pellets down the barrel.
Anyway, after trying every pellet I have, including all the Crosman offerings, Gamo’s, H&N, and even JSB’s, (every other gun I own prefers JSB’s...), I tried the RWS Miester however it’s spelled, flat points, upon the advice of another member. Those grouped the best, until I dug up a can of the RWS super points, which grouped even better. Nice thing is, a tin of 250 of either is about 8 bucks on amazon with free shipping if you have prime.
So, if you have a picky 1322, the RWS’s might be worth a try...

The .22, 14g Meisterkugelns have worked great for me in both my Crosman custom 2240 & Mac-1 2240. Accurate, no pass-throughs & deliver a real wallop on small game.

Mine is VERY picky, I think due to the gun being on the lower end of the power spectrum (15fpe max). I think the choked LW barrel would do better with more oomph behind it. Either way, I have found the 11.9gr RWS hobbies to shoot very well at slower speeds. If I run them too fast, they dont behave well. Needless to say, I cannot use them in any of my PCPs. I also use a pellet sizer to shoot regular crosman CHP pellets with extreme accuracy. JSB's seem to do the best.

My gun likes the Miesters, but it just doesn’t have the power to push them fast enough for my needs. (I think)
My target is just a cardboard shoe box packed with rubber mulch. The front gets shot out so I slap on a layer of duct tape. At 20 yards and with 10 pumps, several pellets didn’t penetrate the tape, and were protruding out the front of the target. The pointed RWS’s on the other hand, always go through.
I would like to use this little gun for ground squirrel control out to a max of 20 yards, and also a few other critters of similar size. I’m concerned that with the flat point pellets I might not get penetration. Other than that, they’re great pellets. Wish they would group in my Disco.

Ron, Any idea of how many FPE you have at 20yds?

Naw. It’s winter and too cold, (ok, I’m just too lazy), to dig the chrony out and set it up. My chrony is pretty poor on a good day and nearly impossible to measure pellet speed with.

RWS Hobbies are the best for my 1322 !

The .22, 14g Meisters work exceptionally well in my Mac-1 2240 up to 25yds for smacking down squirrels. The .177, 7g Meisters do really well in my Beeman P17.

I use 2 pumps in my 1322 with Meisters to pop HOSP at 7 to 10 yards.
