So - I just read some of the NP2 guns are assembled in the US. Do you know which ones? Any of these?

And if you have to work on an NP2 gun, do you need a spring compressor?
I am working my way back to air gunning, and catching up with things.

I have no idea which specific NP2 models are assembled in the US. I had thought all of them were but could easily be wrong. As far as a spring compressor - if you wish to work with or replace the gas spring you should have some sort of compressor. The preload is a half inch or less so even a bar clamp works well if it has a jack screw.

Crosman Summit Ranger is assembled in the U.S.
Don’t know about the other np2’s.
The Ranger has metallic front and rear sights and the CBT trigger is very useable on mine.
Very very accurate rifle.

For my knowledge the Trail NP2 is assembled in the USA. But don't know about the others, that had to be determented while reading the Descriptions on like Pyramyd Air or other websites.

If that was important to me I would call or email Crosman and ask them. A lot of them Are assembled in NY (from parts made in China) because Crosman manages QC/QA better this way by inspecting the parts during assembly and guns getting boxed and shipped to retailers and clients.
Moved your thread to the Crosman gate where someone might know more about which NP2's are assembled in NY.
