Title: My new to me Air Arms S400CRB
Post by: threex4 on August 22, 2010, 12:25:28 PM
I've been wanting a AA S400CRB for quite some time and when one fianlly came up with my name on it, I jumped all over it. It was close, by a minute, for the " I'll take it" but this time I got lucky.

The Classic I had before was just a little longer than I like, carbine's are more my style.

With a gun only about 6.5 lbs, scopeing would be a problem, I didnt want to make it any heavier than needed. So surfing the web I found the Leapers 39x44 Tackedge scope, which was listed at 15.2oz. But as usuall, companies mis-represent the little things that we all look for and judge our purchase by, this scope was really 23.7oz, just a little more than I wanted in a scope. But I mounted it any way , just for S&G's. This AA now weigh's in at 8.5lb. Lots more to my dislike, but I guess if I really want this AA , I'll have to live with it.
Here are some pics of my AA S400 22 cal with the Leapers 39x44ao w/side wheel.

Can ya guess which is lighter in each pic LOL
