I had a true hunter on a Gamo break barrel which had a lens start to get fissures from the recoil. I called them and had to email them proof of purchase and they gave me a RA number. I had a new one pretty quickly and this one has several thousand shots and works great. I will say that in my case it was a visible defect whereas not holding zero will be a bit harder for them to determine and may take a while longer. These scopes are great for the money and UTG will stand behind them but IMO you and I are their quality control dept. I had one come from the factory with  the horizontal crosshair broken where it met the vertical. Don't know how that got past any decent quality control. Also I recommend a recoil reduction scope base for springers and gas piston air rifles. I have found that when installing the base the grooves should be lubed and the screws on the front part should be gently snugged and the ones in the rear of the gap should  be very tight. I also use blue Loctite on all the screws. After the Loctite is set I take a piece of 14 gauge copper wire and place it in the gap of the rrr and shoot the rifle. Close examination should reveal flats on the wire. This indicates the rrr is working properly and absorbing the shock instead of imparting it to the scope. Many folks tighten all screws and then the rrr can't work properly. For the rrr to do it's job the front section must be allowed to move back and forth.

We’ll see what happens. At 10 yards my melick tuned b12 would stack pellets easily on top each other and all the sudden it started to throw flyers 1/2 inch out. So I then put the scope on my hw50s and at 10 yards which also was a one hole 5 shot group was throwing flyers every couple shots. After all this I installed my old trusty beeman blue ribbon 2.5x32 and all was good and not chasing zero anymore.

That's good news!  Are they sending the same scope or a newer model?  A lot of times they don't make them anymore and you make out with a better model.

Had the same issue and contacted UTG and got a return auth #. Read about a tip on one of the forums and corrected it myself. I may send it back after hunting season but I fear the problem may  very well show up in the new one at some point since I have a second scope and it is the same. The problem is the fast focus eye piece. It move around and when it does so does the reticle hence a poi change. The red o ring is forced in between the eye piece and scope when rotated clockwise and is not visible. The two larger black ones compress and lock the eyepiece.

My scope was discontinued and the sent me a link to scopes to choose from that's closest in price and features. So I picked utg true hunter tf2 4x32 AO 1" tube with rings $59.This time around the scope will not see springer use.It will sit on a xs60co2 and my daisy 901 pumper.
