Title: Proper o-ring hardness for Marauder valve and gauge block?
Post by: Martis 1 on December 05, 2019, 08:05:11 PM
I have to rebuild my Marauder, (long story... ;) and have a selection of o-rings, but they are all 90 duro.  I’m wondering if they are the proper hardness or should I use something softer, specifically for the valve and gauge block?  I can order some 70’s from the o ring store if that would be better.
Thanks!

Generally we use buna 70's
While a 90 can work one needs to be very careful when pushing the valve and gauge manifold down the end of tubes threads & entering tubes smooth interior, as well going past the gauge hole.
