Title: Uragan .25 question,...for owners and people with knowledge.
Post by: Nomadic Pirate on December 04, 2019, 06:38:59 PM
How much power does your .25 Uragan get ?

can you power it up with ease ?

How many shots do you get if you fill to 200 BAR ?

does it like different pellets ? ...like Baracuda and Benjamin ?

Thank you in advance for any info.

I've shot both the .25 and the .30 Uragan, and they are SWEET guns for sure!  I shoot with people that have a lot more gun money than I do,lol.  I think the .30 was doing right at 80 fpe, and the .25 was around 50 fpe.  I think they can be turned up a bit, but I don't know how much.  They seem to be built like a tank, and feel very solid.  I like the stock and looks of them a lot!  Both versions I shot were extremely accurate, and I like that left hand cocking lever more than I thought I would.  They would certainly make an awesome woods gun.

I think we were shooting the 25.39s at the time.  I know the person who owns it said he turned it down a little from where it was at.  I only shot it a few times, but he shot it quite a bit, and was tagging 1-1.5" targets at 100+ yards pretty easily.

You're gonna love it I think!  He's not too far from me.  I saw on his site that he said the .30 Uragan was his new favorite air gun ;)

Yeah most people I talk to absolutely love them. I saw Norm (blackdiesel) posted that his is his favorite gun out of all the ones he owns. I think that says alot!

The Uragan sounds amazing, and I'm sure Georgia airguns knows how to tune them to specs.

Now I'm wandering, ......Better to start with a .25 tuned to 60-65 FPE and get the .30 later ? or the other way around ?

You will need Torx and metric hex bits.  Odd combination!

I came across this. Looks like the gentleman is doing 60 fpe with just a hammer spring adjustment.
