Title: TX200 part - cocking shoe arm pin C-clip
Post by: Brazos on November 29, 2019, 05:53:03 PM
I was finally able to put my Tony Leach kit in my TX200 today and got to the end to find I am missing an e-clip (or c-clip whatever they are called).  Does anyone know what size they are?  They are part number CL006 on the diagram link below.  They hold the pin in place for the cocking shoe arm to cocking linkage.

Thanks.

Brazos,

Any import auto or non-American motorcycle shop should have what you need in stock.

A bearing house may have them too.

That's where I get all of my small metric screws for my AA guns.

Cheers,

I know I can find one.  I just live out in the country and have nowhere close to go look.  Figured I am not the first to loose this part and maybe someone knew the size so I could just order a handful.

I think it's 3 mm.

I've been known to shoot one of those into space before!  Since then, I coat them with a thick dab of grease and it seems to keep them from becoming airborne.

Just got in from town and after 4 places I found one that looked identical and it works.  It is a 5/32" e-clip.  I did not find any metric e-clips in town.  So now we have the answer for future search reference.  5/32" or 3mm.

A bit late for your needs, but something to keep in mind.  There are multi-size kits available that are great to have on hand.  A while back I ordered a metric one that has from 2 mm up to 10 mm (IIRC) in all the common metric sizes.  It's come in handy for fixing up a couple of FWB's that were missing e-clips and for replacing one or two on other guns as well.  Got mine from Amazon, probably available from other sources as well.
