I’ll be been working a lot of hours , I got caught up on all my bills and projects so figured . You only live once . https://www.airgunforum.ca/store/product_info.php?products_id=243 (https://www.airgunforum.ca/store/product_info.php?products_id=243)
I’ve been eying this rifle for a few years and now I’ve got one on the way. What really got me was the recently acquired HW35 . The quality of the Weihrauch’s is something to behold if you haven’t held one . I’ll be tuning this one to 12fpe using 10gn JSB pellets . I didn’t have a dedicated .177 PCP and the price was right
-
Congratulations,it's a beauty, high quality and known as very accurate.
-
One of the first Airgun reviews I ever watched was Giles review of the HW110, it gave me the impression of absolute quality. I still watch that video from time to time. I generally live in ‘price point PCP’ world, but if I ever have the chance to get a top tier gun, a Weihrauch will be on the short list. I look forward to hearing about your new gun.
-
I've always liked the look of the HW, congrats on the purchase!
-
I should mention , the prices are in CAD . For you folks south of the border it would be one heck of a deal and Dan has other models in stock. It’s another option to Krale.
-
Congrats!
There are some nice guns there.
I didn't know you could still buy a CZ200S COLOUR, thought that well dried up years ago.

The HW 100 was the first true production PCP, and they got it right from the get go. A very fine AG indeed.
In fact, Allen Z. the famed Rapid tuner, said that the Styer and HW-100 were the only two AG's he would tune. Now that says a LOT!!!
Huge Contrats. (Your Kill'n me)! ;D 8)

A most excellent choice for a PCP!
Yikes- just looked up the CZ200... a .22 CZ-barreled PCP for ONLY ~ $402 USD? That's the best price I've ever seen, anywhere, on a CZ200- and it would make a fine companion to my CZ634
-
Solid choice picking a proven platform.
The only thing that remains is how to configure it to suit yourself and your shooting style.
Congrats man, I am sure that you will be tickled with it.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’ve bought from Dan . Whatever you do , don’t look at the pellet prices , just not worth buying . ;)

Congratulations. Weihrauch truly makes high quality air rifles. I don't have one of their PCPs, but I do have a HW springer. I have looked at that their PCPs........and have had to use great restraint. Hope you enjoy it!

Here she is . I took the scope off the HW97 to see how it performed and right out of the box it is shooting spot on. Ran a few magazines over the chrony to see where it was shooting . 905 to 910 fps with 10gr. Jsb pellets . Just as advertised at 18FPE . I did readjust the hammer spring to get the velocity down closer to 12fpe , I finding that just about perfect in .177. The efficiency is ..... how do you say real crappy . I’m going to have to find a cure for that . One thing I should mention is the trigger , this has got to be the best trigger I’ve EVER touched.
If anyone has any tricks for squeezing some efficiency out of the HW100 , please let me know .
-
WOW! what a beauty!
CONGRATS!

As far as efficiency, are you talking "shot count"?
-
Ya I’m talking shot count . I haven’t run an entire string ,but it does the look good from the few mags ive put through it .
-
That's gorgeous gun! Even with the HST backed down the efficiency is poor?
-
That is a beautiful rifle! Congrats, also I may be a little bit jealous. :D
-
Very nice looking rifle! Not familiar with that particular rifle. But if not regulated, stepping down in transfer port size would probably help quite a bit. And if still a hog with hammer bounce present, look a building a ssg and lightening the hammer.
-
Ok so with a little bit of shooting . It doesn’t appear to be as bad as I thought . I got 6 x 14 shot mags on the regulator . I will however need to do some fine tuning as the velocity started to climb off the reg . Seeing as this is the carbine version , the air volume is quite small . I haven’t crunched any numbers but it’s definitely better than originally thought .
-
That's just letting you know you can drop the reg pressure down for better efficiency.
-
What a beauty. Congratulations on the new gun.
-
Wow! That really IS nice. You've set the bar pretty high if that's what I could go for. I guess I'm a little envious too.

It's real rough only getting 84 shots on a fill, eh?
Back in my day! ;D Joking, but I do remember when we were all super stoked that the Disco got 25 shots on a fill. Now we don't hardly blink when a 40 fpe .25 has nearly 100 shots.
-
Yeah, a real downer for sure. ;D

Will that Canadian Forum store sell full-power versions of their guns to U.S. customers since we don't have a Canadian PAL? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that AirgunArcheryFun decided not to do this anymore, so I'm wondering about this other store?
-
Techie ,
The problem is with pistols as far as I know . Full powered rifles should be no problem . Pistols that shoot over 500 fps here in Canada are restricted weapons and both the dealers and owners need special licensing. The only real way to find out would be to ask Dan ( he’s the owner of the store ) I’m nearly 100% certain that he ships all products he sells to the US .
