ordered the heavier hammer spring and lighter trigger spring a few weeks ago. ordered some h&n baracudas and field tarrgets, jsb monsters and jsb exact 18gr.
decided to bring it to the range yesterday for some 50 yd shooting. pumped the gun to the end of the yellow and tried some pellets. monster were horrible, both h&n were bad. so i refilled it and tried the exact 18.1gr. WINNER!!!! was making groups that could be covered with a nickel. the more i shoot this gun the more i love it. the 3-9 scope doesnt cut it, need to order another 16x for it. trigger still isnt amazing though.
anyways i decided i will just start screwing around with the m rod now since it has no power. adjusted the hammer and striker. bottomed the velocity screw out and did 3 1/2 turn out. pumped it to 3000 psi and hit the back yard. deffinatly ALOT faster now and shot from 3000 to 2000 with 4 clips. accuracy wise it wasnt amazing. shot the 21gr baracudas the best. have to figure out the accuracy issues still. might be worth just buys a new barrel, baffles, end cap and shroud

I improved the Trigger on my 2260 (same trigger group as disco) With the lighter trigger spring AND a really nice brass trigger blade from Bryan and Associates. I understand TKO makes a trigger blade too, but I have no experience with that one. Here's what mine looks like...

This was just the thing to make my gun's trigger just about prefect, It has a light, smooth pull that breaks very predictably. A bid of polishing of contact points in trigger group would help too.

Look nice! The TKO is very good but no bling ;)

i plan on getting the m rod trigger groups for it eventually. the trigger is good enough for hunting and much better then before but i love the m rod trigger

STS- go check the mrod forum. A gent just posted what he found to be his accuracy woes.

in the tuning area or the .22 m rod area? the one where the guy recrowns the barrel?
anyways in other new i found a use for the monsters. they shoot great out of my 2240 with the disco hammer spring. smacks cans hard at 25 yds.
