Title: Crosman 760D
Post by: furstheimer on November 20, 2019, 07:32:23 PM
I recently picked up a Crosman 760D at a yard sale for $12.00. It has a rifled barrel. When I shoot it I get a light puff of air in the face. I assume the bolt probe is not creating a good seal with the barrel. Is there supposed to be an O ring on the probe or do I need to heat shrink it? is this a common problem and is there an easy fix? Thanks.

This is very common with this model.  Some people have cut a groove on the bolt probe and installed an o-ring but it's not easy to do.

That heat shrink sounds like a good idea!

id Try the heat shrink on it. Won’t last a really long time but may last a while.
