recently got my gauntlet and it's my first PCP and i'm extremely impressed with it . much easier to shoot accurately than my diana 34 (duh!) , very accurate . i was a little suspect of the power because of how quiet it is but i KNOW it has power now . my GF's grandson killed a spike this morning on the farm , he had cut across the top and back of the skull with a saw to get the spike/antlers off . my stock .25 gauntlet with 25.4 AA's shot above each eyebrow made a little hole in the front and sent brains flying out the back both times . so i know for a fact it has the power to kill a deer and therefor any other critter that i may want to shoot around here .
yes the cocking is hard but i'm not gonna shed tears over it . the trigger is very usable after adjusting it . accuracy at 30ish yards surprised me and i'm really looking forward to what i can do with more trigger time . hand pumping is still doable , but it's loosing it's charm . it's not terrible though . actually it's more of a inconvenience because of the time it takes . 3 rounds of 35 (pausing at the top and bottom) pumps to top off after 24 shots takes me about 15-20 mins . definitely wanna get a elec. pump after valentines but the hand pump ain't gonna kill me and it'll be nice when i go out to the farm . but yeah ...... very happy with what i have now and a big thanks to the folks here that replied to my very numerous questions and comments helping me make my decision . :)

Great to hear! She is a beast in all the good ways...Love my .25 Gauntlet.....my journey was a full HP JSAR Tune kit and a Shoe-box Compressor..Not much a .25 Gauntlet can not do for like a third of the price...is is all great fun!
PS Order more ammo....you will need it!
