Title: .30 EdGun Super Long ~47.2 gr NSAs

Got to the range today to test slugs. One rose to the top, the NSA 47.2 gr. I have the gun tuned to shoot these at 920 fps. I shot at the 50 and 100 yard lanes. After lasering the distance, they are actually 40 and 90 yards where the targets are set. The berms behind the targets are at 50 and 100 but anywho.

The pictured groups are not cherry picked as I really didn’t spend a lot of time at the range. The conditions were very good though. Each group pictured are 5-shots each. I can see this combo getting an astonishing group at 100 soon. These are fantastic Nick Nielson.

Thank you man. I don't give myself the credit though. These were quick groups without a lot of effort. It's just a great combo with the Eddy and these slugs. The gun hasn't been super impressive until now  ;D

Well it's very impressive now  ;D I do wish Ed would have made the R5 in all calibers. I liked my R5M but think a R5 long .22 would have been awesome!

I totally agree. I tuned a .22 R3 Long that is a laser beam with the .22 RD Monsters (920 fps) and NSA slugs. C'cut has it now. Never should have sold her  :'(

I regret not being able to attend the end of the year jmatch you invited me too. Hope to be kept informed for next year!


Hopefully will be sporting a Raptor Mini by then.  ;)

I’ll definitely reach out to you for the February match. Fist Saturday of each month from February to October. Once you go you’ll keep coming back plus the match director will get you email address and hit you up before each match.
