A little more barrel work. It's a little different. It is a Brownells, 1 in 20 twist barrel liner designed for .22 short. It very similar to the FX specs in both twist and od of the liner. It is a chrome molly Firearm barrel liner. Very smooth lands and gouves.
I decided to wrap it a bit differently. Rather than all CF Tubing, I wrapped it first with two very tight fitting 7075 T6 easton Alu. Arrow shafts. One a perfect fit into the other. this follow by a chrome molly section over them for the breech area for the set screws to baht into without damaging the thin liner. Finally, a thick walled Carbon Fiber wrap was applied.
I will be testing in another hour, as the F-10 id now filing the bottle.
I'm terrible at pic', but here are a few of the finished barrel. Although it is properly cr;ounded, there is some adhesive I left on the muzzle for anotyher day for full setup. So it will look rough to the eye until fully polished. Te crown however, is fully finished and polished.

Thanks Hunter! ;D
Scott, they come in at apx 26 inches. My shrould on the RS is short, requiring me to cut her down to 20 1/2" in order to use the DonnyFL or Neil Clague.
I do have a much longer should here, but bumped the light fixture getting out of my office, inhouse bench, Door sill of the office, front dolre, and I can't seem to find a reel large enough here to fit it as a Marlin Ple. LOL
Woods walking would be near impossible here in the Cedar breaks. Cost me a solid 100 fps. GRRRRR!!!

A combo of three different adhesives in different parts. JB steel weld, Loctite gap creeping formula and an industrial type of superglue. Both leaching and a gap filling type along with a catalyst hardener. so 4 if you ($*& two different types of the S.G.
I do need to add one more thick wall tube to bring it up to over 700+ inches in Dia.

I just finished the first real accuracy test with it. at 60 yards the 39 gr NOE spirepoint was 10 shots single loaded in a hole.
The 29 gr shot right at, and slightly over 1 inch. It should be better in this barrels twist, as it is what it is designed for. It is the .22 rimfire short liner.
I need to review the signing fo it. As this barrel may very well be different than the last one I received from Brownells along with Hobbyman2007.
I shot some NOE .22 hunter pellets from a mold on loan from Nvreloader, (Don) and they shot surprisingly well. Odd, as they were cooking at 1060's :o X :o :o + ???

Mike, beautiful work on that liner! Very stout after all those wraps and ACCURATE with slugs in your RS! Woo Hoo! Slinging them at over 1000fps...each barrel has its own personality! Good work sir 🤓👍.

Bob, I cut it with Starrett bi-metal hacksaw blades or my bi-metal band saw bladed for thick tubes. for very thin tubes I use a cutoff wheel. dremel will work. I have a high speed one made for aarrow sharo heick carbon arrow shafts.
You have to be careful. Stop the cut three quarters of the way thru, and cut about 3/32: away from where you want it. It likes to splinter on the surface. this is why I cut only three quarters thru, and turn the tube and uct from the other side. It helps to prevent the splintering.

NOt at all Don. 35 bucks at Brownells for the liner, and abot 25 bucks in cf tubing. Maybe 30 bucks. It's the work that would cost sending it out. OUCH!!!
I already had the arrow shafts. That helped. ;)
Luckily, is is very similar as to the work I did in Knives. They on the other hand, were way above my pay grade. GRRRR! Don't even own one. Couldn't afford it. My wife has one. Double GRRRR!!! + ;D

That’s some nice work Knife . Did you ever find a .22 magazine for that rifle ? I think I saw one for sale on eBay not too long ago.
