Title: 1377 bolt handle attachment
Post by: Psipumper on November 15, 2019, 10:03:07 AM
I have a new model 1377. I removed the bolt assembly . I tried to remove the handle but it broke off. Is it threaded or pressed in? I heated it up prior but it broke flush and I need to get the broken part out.

It looks pressed in to me.  I don't think it's intended to be removable.

I suppose you could put the bolt in a vise and try to drive out the broken piece with a mallet and a pin punch... or drill it out.

The factory bolt/probe and bolt handle are pressed together.   There are no threads.    I assume you have the plastic breech off the gun and have removed the metal retainer from the bottom of the breech.   Any Crosman or aftermarket threaded bolt/probe and bolt handle can replace the pressed together version.

Thanks. I messed up thinking it was threaded. Now I can knock out the broken part. I am extending the bolt length 3/32 to seat the pellet past the transfer port. That is why I needed to remove the handle.
