I have about 4000 Vogel pellets I acquired quite a few years ago for my Baikal IZH-46M. These pellets have what to me looks like a yellow label on the tin. I only see them listing a green tin and an orange tin on various sites that sell them. Maybe my eyes are not capable of distinguishing between yellow and orange.. According to what I read the orange tin is simply pellets that didn't satisfy green tin QC. But from what I have also read both green and orange tin pellets are listed as .53g in weight. The pellets in the yellow/orange tins that I have list the weight as .5g. I can find nowhere that a .5g Vogel pellet is listed. The reason I am interested is that the Vogel pellets I have shoot very well in the HW30S I recently received. The pellets I have are also listed as 4.49 mm in diameter. I haven't actually put a caliper on them to verify diameter but I have weighed them on my reloading scale and the .5g seems to be accurate.
As I said these pellets were acquired quite a few years ago so maybe Vogel no longer makes them. Does anyone know any more about Vogel pellets.
