Title: Armadillo meets ASP20
Post by: Wembley2000 on October 25, 2019, 12:09:19 PM
Hello,

Got my 6th armadillo this year. Got this one at about 10 yards with my .22cal ASP20. Seems like i live in an armadillo breading ground, either that or i have an inviting yard.

This one decided to flop around on the sidewalk, so i had to hose it off at about midnight last night.

Great shooting!  I've gotten two this year myself with my .22 Gamo Urban.

Good Shot & Good Hunting Post Brian.

I've been waiting to see one with a .22cal ASP20 rifle.

Best Wishes - Tom

thanks all. I hate those dang things, they are nasty and tear up everything. The good thing is if you catch them digging they dont care if you spot light them. But they dont stop moving either.

It's amazing on how high an armadillo jumps when shot. I've had to dispatch several in my yard.

Brian, great shot on that armored tank! A spray bottle with peroxide will help making blood on cement clean up much easier followed by the hose 👍.

I usually give the dillos a pass ,but 2 weeks ago one had been tearing up my back yard big time . Itryed for a week to catch him out at day light ,finally put up a drive eay alert and got him 6:00 the very next morning, bet he weighed 20 lbs ,used my marauder pistol/ carbine for a head shot DRT
