I decided to take my Steel Eagle apart today just to see what condition it was in. It only has about 400 rounds through it but I wanted to check for any factory nicks in the piston seal and clean things up. The seal seems to be pretty good and it everything was lightly lined and not all gunked up. My Vantage was the same.
IMO they do a pretty good job putting these together.
