Title: Bulldog mk II waiting room
Post by: Red FR on October 03, 2019, 07:52:33 PM
I bought a bulldog for it's power.
Upgraded it, and regulated it.

I simply love the design, to the point I want a second .357 or .30/.308 bullpup, with a strong bias for another Crosman / Benjamin bullpup rifle -- for as long as it's similar in design, but has a barrel twist rate designed for slugs in the 100-150 grain range.

All the other airgun manufacturers are dropping the ball, except American Air Arms -- which are out of my price range.
Nobody else seems to want my money, in exchange for a sub 2000$ rifle that is a direct upgrade to the current bulldog.

And as so -- I wait, and dream, checking for announcements all over the web every now and then.

Surely, they must be working on improving the design and preparing the manufacturing of an upgrade, sometime in the future, not too awfully far away?

Have you done any upgrades..?

I'm seriously looking for a second bulldog just for target practice, which is going to be regulated and set to a minumum setting for whatever is required to fire grizzlies or other cheap/bulk pellets accurately enough at 50 meters to hit big game plinking targets.

Hoping to get 30 shots per fill with an extended reservoir.

I was going to practice accuracy, safety and gun control with airguns, and get a firearm for hunting -- saving as much as possible on the cost of ammo.
But there won't be space for a firearm in the gun safe, at this rate.

If only my country allowed airgun hunting for anything but pests.
