Title: Mounting Red/Green Lazer On Liberty PCP
Post by: USAFANG6799 on October 03, 2019, 04:01:38 PM
I want to remove the front sling mount post on my Liberty PCP an mount a Red/Green Lazer.
What adapter choices do I have to do this? Thinking Weaver or Dovetail for the adapter.

Many thanks!

You might want to consider mounting it to the air tube as it's right in align with the barrel.

I have a UTG bipod on my Liberty.  It comes with a Pic rail adapter which mounts on the sling stud without eliminating it.  Bipod is easy on/off so this works for me, but the rail does not have a positive enough locating system to mount consistently enough for a sighting device which would make it worth while.
When you sat red dot are your referring to a laser?  When i hear red dot I think of a top mounted holographic dot sight.

Why not try something like this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A5ICNRE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A5ICNRE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Unless your mount is parallel with the barrel, you will have severe alignment problems.

This is what I have coming:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NVK0RR2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NVK0RR2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

And one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004T14ZZW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004T14ZZW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Will see how they work out. If not then I'll be looking at what you guys are suggesting.

Many thanks!
