Title: Remove non broken bolt handle from Benjamin Maximus

Hi everyone, Just got my SS bolt handle from Airweks( very nice),want to be proactive and put this on before the original one breaks. All I've read is about how these handles seem to snap right off!! So... any advice on taking the original one out? Are they locktited in ? Does it take alot of force to unscrew? Am I making a big deal of nothing, I need guidance!!! Thanks

It just unscrews. Pad it if you have to use pliers (so you don't scratch it up). The reason that they have a reputation of snapping of, is that the hammer spring is way too strong.

Know you're on the edge of your seat as to the outcome putting on the new bolt handle.. gentle pressure with 10mm wrench(7/16th was to large) and it came right off.Making a mountain out of the old mole hill. Thanks
