Yep, all good things must come to an end....this would be our 3rd to last match of the season. Very excellent shooting last match, let's keep it going to the end. Due date for the scores and a scan of the target sheet for Match #12 is Sunday 29 September 2019.
Please include the following info with your entry:
Call name or real name
PCP or Jumper class
Air rifle
Sighting system
Pellet and caliber
Position and/or shooting aid(s)
Score
SHOOT OFTEN, SHOOT SAFE and HAVE FUN

Call name: Fred J
PCP class
Air rifle: Regulated Air Arms S500
Sighting system: Leapers 4-16X56mm
Pellet and caliber: Air Arms 10.3gr (.177 cal)
Position and/or shooting aid(s): Seated on a bucket, rifle rested on a bipod (See my avatar)
Conditions: Not much wind: 6 mph from an 11:00 direction. Something of a minor miracle on my hilltop range :D
Score: 197 8X (Scored with a pellet on a stick).
Note: I know this is early, but I need to spend time with the TX200 over the next couple of weeks. I will be using the TX in HFT competition in Baton Rouge October 5th & 6th, so I need to break in the new (~300 shots) Vortek spring. I did manage to shoot a 191 3X with the TX today, but I think it can do better as the spring breaks in. Now if only the nut behind the trigger could be improved ... :o

No worries. I'm sure gammo2hammerli will appreciate that :D He's the Mod in charge of this match. It's all about getting to shoot and have fun doing it.

Score = 170
Very wet and windy here today. Printer wouldn't print, then target got wet and the pellets couldn't punch clean holes. I got there eventually.

This has been hard but fun...this is the best I can do as a rookie in the
PCP class please
JBinCO
.22 Cal Aspen Stock (so PCP unregulated Low power setting no pumping during string (so like 770 FPS with 14 G Crosman Premiers (love these))
UTG 3-9x 40
Off Bags (the shooting stick was not pretty at all, Next Time I hope)
light wind at back 2-3 MPH
Scored with .22 Cal Pellet head = 180 with 2 Xs
-
OK so this is really going to be interesting...addictive for sure....This is my first card in high winds with the .25 Gauntlet that Hajimoto tuned for me. I think the 25 grains and 899FPS and 34x FFP scope is all working...now I need to learn how to shoot on table with a bi-pod and bag!.....I will try again in less wind and score what I get but I am very excited to get some X's!

JB, it is just all about having fun. Craig

First time to try the 124 @ 30 yds for this match. Pretty satisfied but don't like having to change scope settings from my 50' setting. But- I will take what The Lord gives me.

By the way, Marty and Pops: Great shooting!

Thanks Fred,
But my hat is off to you guys that shoot from bucket and sticks. If I shot that way I would do good to have 150. I need all the rest I can use. I tried the artillery hold several years ago and I guess my body is just not for it. So I just do the best I can with what the Good Lord gave me and I am like Craig-- It's all for the fun of it anyway. As I always say-- As long as you are happy- that's all that matters.

Just a thought. How about putting the target link at the fist post of each new match #.
I found this tonight, Sat 9/28 the night B4 it ends and Prob can't get it in by tomorrow. But I bet a lot more people like me would be more likely to do these if the target were available on each new thread....I am sure it's somewhere but why make it tough? I even when back to Post no.1 of the first match of this season...am I missing something? My apologies if I am.
Thanks for running the match, they are fun. I did the off season 10m shoot a few times... but same thing, I had to hunt down the link for a target on completely different threads from different years.
Making it easy may drum up more shooters.

Got mine in today, the gauntlet is still wandering a bit. The ASP20 I still don't have a good handle on it. Usually shoulder pressure.
