Title: Beeman P3 - P17 - Stoeger X4
Post by: Robert 5mm on September 16, 2019, 12:45:43 PM
On today's PA - Tom Gaylord's Blog - he is talking about the Beeman P3 / P17 pistols.
I noticed on the Stoeger web site they have a pistol XP4 which looks and specs the same as the P17.

Robert, I haven't found any specific proof if it the XP4 is really the same as the Beeman P17, but as you already stated, the specs are looking almost identical and if you look on the picture on the XP4 the Trigger Blade, the lockup hammer and the Safety, they look to me completely identical. The only place I have found so far to buy the XP4 here in the US is from a company called Euoroptics, and there it will be $67.38 and that is without S&H. I haven't found any kind of Review on this specific Pistol, so it is not really checked out at all how much it is identical to the P17 or if it is better, what I personally doubt.
Here is the link to Eurooptics website:

I just got a P17 and it pretty much cured me of spending more money for like a Webley multi-pump pistol.

The P17 will shoot thru both sides of a milk jug, but its kind of a pain for me to load, and the others are similar to load. The Webley Senior looks like it would load easiest, but thats $270 more. I was looking for a light trail,/camp gun for small game, but for the money i can get a tuned D34P. Its not as compact or light but more accurate, so i went that way. This is what i was wanting
