Re-doing my cousins Daisy 1000 synthetic.
Stock - Krylon Fusion - Espresso
Action - Rust-Oleum Multicolor Textured - Autumn Brown
Trigger Group - Disassembled, polished, and reassembled.
Deboned, degreased, deburred, buffed, washered, and assembled with a light spanking of JM moly/clear.
Removed "iron" sights, fabbed an econo pvc barrel brake. Ready for Powerline scope.
This was my first tear-down of a "Turkey" gun. Trigger group was a little tricky.

Looking good. Post some pics when its all together, I want to see how it looks! 8)

Thanks Vinny. All put together now.
Scope mounted and sighted. (Used razor blade to strip the paint...just where the mounts clamp on. Loctite too)
I capped the barrel with a thick/stiff rubber washer.
Still shoots hard, but most of the twang and bang are gone.
Trigger O. K. ...predictable, but still too many lbs required for REAL accuracy.
This was one - nasty rusty crusty bolts-missing everything loose - Daisy before I gave it the TLC you gentlemen have taught me all about on this forum.
My cuz and his son found it hard to believe it was the same gun....they thought for sure I had pulled some shenanigans on them. (I'm capable lol) - Just doing my part to pass along the love for the sport.
