I've got a hw97 on order and I'm considering a athelon talos 3-12 for it. They're guaranteed for life but I'm not sure any of the athelons are springer rated. Please let me know if you have any experience with these scopes on springers.
Thanks

I have one mounted on a .25 cal Hatsan 135 but I also use a ZR mount. So, its not feeling the full recoil.
I have to say though that I like the scope. I think its a good value for the price.
The turret clicks are a bit stiff in a very good way. There's only four mildots on the reticle going each way but that's all I need.
In the customer questions on PA, Tyler says they are rated for magnum springers.
I had to shim up the scope in the mount because the scope has a nipple under the turrets. The ZR mount isn't ideal for it. There just isn't enough clearance between the scope's nipple and the ZR scope mount.

I just got a message from Athlon saying that the talos is NOT springer rated and suggested other models. I guess I'll go with the tried and true Airmax scopes.

Good to know!
Looks like most all of the Athlon scopes are on back order at PA at this time anyway.
