Title: p1 emergency!!!!
Post by: lillysdad621 on August 04, 2011, 12:55:31 AM
does anyone with a p1 could tell me if there is any play whatsoever in the barrel under that plate that holds it in place with the two small screws? Is it solidly mounted?is there a little "wiggle room"? is it normal? any help is very much appreciated.

I have four HW45s (P1) and I just checked them all. No wiggle room in any of them.

darn it... Have you ever removed a barrel? those screws seem to be glued in place...

I've never removed mine but I know a few people who have. They tell me there is glue or loctite holding the screws in. The screwheads are easy to strip too so having an extra set of screws is a good thing.

How easy are the barrels to line up after you replace them?
Always afraid that the seals wont sit well after removal of , and replacing a .177 with a bigger .22 barrel!
