Were these going for  $219 at one point? For that price you can snag a couple mags.

I am unsure, so correct me if I am wrong. Wasn't the first version just a Gamo Urban, & now there is a Gamo Urban Whisper Fusion ??

Nope Urbans all have that same  fugly can since they came out... The BSA Buc/Gamo Yote came in a pre Whisper that is 1/2 UNF threaded at the muzzle... I have 2 pre can Buccaneers (.177 & .22) and think the can ruins the vibe of a Sharp Dressed rifle... Do not like the looks of the yote as much and the can makes it worse...

For some reason I can put up with the ugly can on the Urban but will eventually change mine to a shroud...

But as for Naming...

The Urban is an Urban
The Yote with the can is a Whisper Fusion

and

The Buc with a can is a Silentium...

Pre Can it was just Buccaneer SE(to distinguish from the springer Buccaneer) and Coyote

Heck of a deal. Someone needs to make some 3d printed mags for this gun. The prices are ridiculous.

The Urban does pretty well with the BBT 30g .217/219... Mine sends them at about 625 fps and Ed turned his up and is at about 650 fps...

My factory setting Buc .22 sends them at ~675 fps... may be able to turn it up a bit...

Look at the description from the Gamo website. The 'Whisper Fusion Technology' refers to the 'pickle' itself. The same 'pickle' is used on a few Gamo models and also referred to as 'Whisper Fusion'.
