Just bought this yesterday
Excellent condition Diana 75 recoil-less GISS system dual piston air rifle. Shooting up to specification and as accurate as they come. Has a very special diopter that I have never seen before, the diana model 28 diopter. The rifle is a T01 universal and has an adjustable cheek piece and adjustable butt pad, multi adjustable trigger also. Has hardly a mark on the action and some minor marks of use on the stock. You can see some marks that is has been opened up to reseal, so it does have renewed seals, but then also some minor marks of disassembly.
Now for the wait.

Would love to see some close-ups of that rear sight when you get it.

Diana 75's .... You will LOVE IT. Nothing quite like hearing a mouse trap trip yet feel NOTHING !! Honestly recoil-less as a spring piston gun can get. DEAD STILL !!
Had a 75HV TO-1 sense @ 1982 having it run until the early 2000's when seals went away. Macarri parts and shes been singing ever sense.

Thanks,
I bought it because I know you will be able to work on it if needed.
Please don’t retire

Beautiful rifle Mitch! Love that stock.
You're making me want one now. ;)
-
It’s sad because you don’t see them for sale often.
Next time I need something like this I am going to contact Carel and Jim E to put a lookout for me.

Well you beat me to it by 5 minutes. Ive been looking out for Diana 75.
To go with my 3 FWB 300s and Walther LGR. Good luck and enjoy

Wowwwwwww......a beautiful find! Lucky YOU!!!!! :D
-
I've got a Diana 6G. also has the Gliss system. Wonderful. ;D
FWIW-I had David Slade replace my blown seals three years ago.
I wish there was more developement on current springers. With modern technology, couldn't they make it even better?
When you are more familiar with the sights, please give use a detailed breakdown. ;)
Thanks for posting, perhaps you could do a full pictorial in the "Fraulein" section? :-*

I own two of these and the 75 is a remarkable rifle! Motorhead was spot on, you know you’re shooting something sooo mechanical and yet it’s totally recoilless. A work of art inside and out.
Curious about that rear sight too.

I am really excited to be able to check out that diopter.
Thinks like this fascinate me. Will post in a few weeks(coming from the Netherlands).

I'm curious to know if it has the standard Diana front globe sight (with inserts) or if it is also something special.
Is that a muzzle weight on the end?
-
Can’t say, it will be shipped after the weekend. Maybe Scott Moterhead can answer as he has one.

YES, there is a weight that sits at the muzzle and bit behind the front sight. It rests over a thinned area of barrel having the front sight assembly slide over it. The pieces have o-rings for friction, alignment step and just firmly pushes together.
Shown is my 75 which is the HV model meaning "High View". It also uses a riser under the rear dopter sight to raise the sighting plane. Also came with the LOW front sight used when you remove the rear riser. Also came with a full set of front sights being thin/thick ... crescent circles and even a crush o-ring Iris type insert. Instructions and sight / misc tools.
Picture of the front end , also with rear access removed tried to get a good picture or two of it. I have no other DIANA guns with globe fronts so have no clue if the same or not ?

Thank you Scott.
That is a totally different Diana sight than I have seen, and it is not the "standard" globe sight.
Great description and even better photos.
