Title: We have sponsors now? Or would you call it advertising!

I notices a change in the Forum.  At the bottom of each page I go to, there is a "Sponsored Ad:" taking up a large part of the bottom area. 
What's up with that?

Not a change in the forum. We have always had an app called AdSense running on the forum. It places very small keyword ads at the bottom of every page. Clicking on these adds a very small amount of money into an account that helps us stay on the air and available. Since we have never had enough donations to keep us going all the time. But these ads have always been there, you just noticed them I guess.

Yes, they have always been there.    Probably providing notable support - I hope.

The new term in the culture is "partners".       :D

Yes, I know about the small ones like Pyramyd Air, Air Tanks For Sale, Charlie de Tuna, etc.  I have been clicking on those for about six years - doing what I can to help the Forum.
What I am talking about is one that has the wording:  Shoot your Gun in the House  These I have not seen before today and they are LARGE. 
Maybe I am not supposed to ask about them.  Hummm!

You can ask. We have nothing to hide. And we are not and never will be sponsored. It's Google AdSense that Gene added initially when the site was built. It adds a very small amount of money to our kitty as well as help us stay on top of the search results for airgun related web inquiries. We have discussed this topic several times over the years on open forum.
And I'm on a 24" monitor here at work and at home and never even notice them.

 i seen 'em never clicked on 'em until today then i clicked till i couldn't click no more now.i know what they do i be clicking 'em more often...

When I select the large "Titan", it replaces the GTA tab.  But when I click Pyramyd Air and the other small ones, they open on a new tab.  That is a little different too.
But I will continue to click them as I always have done.   :D [size=78%] [/size]
