Here is my diy air stripper finally done. I had made it and re machined it several times due to changes I wanted.
I combined it with a custom carbon shroud just for looks as functional shrouds are verbotten in canada:(
This was made for my heavily tuned cr600w aka plinkster .22 from Wesbob.
The two pic are before and after shots of my stripper. I did not want to go all out finishing the looks until I was sure it worked.
It's had the 21.5 inch (lr700 barrel it comes with) chopped and recrowned to 19 inches and chamber leadin reamed and polished. It loads from magazine smooth like silk , even copper h&n's. Custom trigger pins, lighter sear spring, modded trigger take up,custom escutcheons for stock mounting bolts, checkered rear of bolt, custom stainless checkered bolt handle with enchanced lock up. Trigger is about 13oz with short take up and crisp break:)
I know it's a lot of work for 200Cad rifle but I love building:)
ps All work done on a vintage unimate db200 lathe convertible to a mill

VERY Nice and beautiful work. 8)
What is the air gap spacing on your air stripper, from the tapered end to muzzle?
Thank you,
Don
