Title: FX Impact gen2(?) vs MKII

Hey all, anybody have thoughts on the second generation Impact vs the new MKII?  The one I'm looking at is pre MKII but has been upgraded with an X barrel.  Seems to be shooting with plenty of power.  I'm just unclear as to major differences or limitations of the older gun.  I know the "transfer tube" or plenum is smaller but not sure that is too limiting at .25 unless I were to go with really heavy pellets or cast. 

Thoughts?

If you can get it for a good price I say go for it . Even with the small plenum 50fpe is plenty for a pellet shooter . Now if you plan to go the big power route or think you want to shoot heavier cast bullets . This may not be the right choice as you would need some serious mods for power . Not something I would be interested in doing to a 2000$ rifle . I have recently got an X version in .22 cal and am very pleased with it with a few exceptions , the stock gauges are just about useless and it only came with one magazine .
