Hawke vantage 4x16x44 bought it off the forum worked great for the last year haven't been shooting as much and have been taking it out more lately.
So I have been trying to stretch my taipan out to 100 yards and join the 100 yard club. first attempt I was shooting a few feet short never dropped the gun or banged it but I went and re zeroed I was waaaaay off. Re zeroed for 75 yards instead of 50. Had today off decided to try again and am still falling short. (I now have a range finder so I know I am dialed in as accurately as possible taipan vet long is shooting fantastic and consistent.
Now while at my range I go to adjust the up and down turret and it just unscrews in my hand. So there was the threaded ring part and I screwed it back into the scope and It stuck is now not moving (what the cover threads onto) and I can't unscrew it by hand now but scope won't click when making adjustments and idk if the scope is ruined or what happened but even when i put it back together it isn't working right. If you need more picture or any info let me know.

I can't say for certain with the photos being a bit pixelated when zoomed in, but it looks like the square head was glued into the cap and the glue broke. You'd need to get it to half way, the vertical turret post 1/2 the total click count of adjustment range, then bond the square brass bolt head into the cap with the zero pointing at the line on the turret. I think. But if you can't turn it at all, guess you'll need to find a repair shop. As for adhesive, I'd clean the mating parts then use a small dab of JB Weld.

Call Hawke. It does have a lifetime warranty!

That makes sense there was a small black ball that looked like resin or something that fell out when It came apart i tried screwing it back together and it got stuck and wouldn't move. I'll contact Hawke and see. If they won't fix it I'll try the jb weld approach since it is a great scope I would hate to not have.
Sorry the pictures are pixelated I took them on my s9+ at a high resolution I am assuming imgur downgraded the res when I uploaded.
