Good morning y’all I just got my nova Liberty from AT and the trigger is heavy . I need a help trying to find out the size and type of screws that some of you use to replace the factory screws that are bit short. Thanks

Follow this thread. I used two scope stop screws for longer screws. Dave

If you lighten the 2nd stage too much, you will loose the ability for the saftey to block the shot. It will still move to the SAFE position, but will be ineffective. Be careful.
Has anyone modified the sear or lever setup so that the 2nd stage can be set really light and STILL maintain the effectiveness of the safety? I would love to be able to do that, as I enjoy a really light trigger, but want to keep the safety feature.
Please post your modifications if you have been successful. Thanks.

I have been using roller tipped screws for a while now.

Forgot about the safety not working when modified like that. Two solutions: don't use the safety, keeping bolt open for semi safe or trim screw on the safety to protrude from the safety lever to work properly. I was going to look into this and forgot. Bought a $99 Liberty parts gun, converted to left hand action and am not afraid to try all sorts of stuff on this knowing I'm not in to deep cash wise. Dave
