Title: Shooting my Warp 30
Post by: Airgunhunter73 on May 26, 2019, 09:09:44 PM
Well after the Bulldog wouldn't air up decided I'd try the Warp out with some cast BBT 67 grainers and some cast 59gr pellets from my NOE molds I had tried these before but was having a hard time chambering them, so as I was cleaning the barrel I notice the probe was loose didn't realize the probe could unscrew tightened it up and now they chamber just fine. Here's some chrony results and a couple of 20yd groups man my backyard is a swamp we've had rain almost every day.

NOE 59gr pellet 3100psi       NOE 67gr BBT 3000psi

1-784                                  1-722
2-787                                  2-708
3-779                                  3-731
4-773                                  4-729
5-778                                  5-709

Here's a picture of the 5 shot groups what do y'all think also a group of JSB 44.75 for comparison

Sweet! Nice shooting! Those bbt 67 are accurate out of my rainstorm too. Those warps put out some nice power. What’s your barrel length?

That’s 78 ft lbs or better out of that barrel. That’s impressive for sure.

Thanks Knife this is a sweet shooting little carbine and has some pretty good thump, I shot a armadillo at my brother in laws 20yds shot completely through it. I'll bet those Raptors will be awesome I love the side lever cocking been thinking about getting a sidelever breech for my double tube Prod that would make it even more fun to shoot.

Wasn't trying to step on your thread, just seems the Raptor shares more than a little of the lineage. Fingers crossed.  I will own one or the other, eventually. LOL  8)
