Title: Having a screw loose isn't always a bad thing

I was having problems with my freedom/gauntlet magazines jamming so I did a little exploring inside of one and I think I found the problem. The hex screw that holds the cover to the body is sometimes put in to tight and won't let the spring rotate it the way it should. If you loosen the screw just a tiny bit at a time they turn much smoother. I bit of lube under the screw smooths it out like the design calls for
