Title: What are the correct photo and video sizes and formats please?

Hey everyone. I was wondering , when posting pics and videos what's best here. Standard JPEG pics best and what sizes? And as far as video will .wmv files work here or do we need another format. Thanks If there are links somewhere on the forum please let me know. I've downloaded and used Irfanview in the past so I'll use that to resize to appropriate max size on the photos.

Allowed file types: doc, gif, jpg, mpg, pdf, png, txt, zip, jpeg
 Restrictions: 15 per post, maximum total size 6500KB, maximum individual size 1200KB

On the vids, just load onto Youtube or Vimeo, then link here and embed. There won't be any file size restrictions that way.

Thanks. Could that be done without a channel or a channel has to be created?

I don't believe you need a channel, but I could be mistaken.

What jpeg pixel combinations produce 1200KB
