Pulled the trigger on this last night after seeing a post when both .22 and .177 where still at this price. Couldn't resist at the price and got the .177.
For anyone not familiar with Bud's pricing, the amount reflects a 3% discount for allowing a direct draft from your bank. Credit card adds the 3% back on. Still seems like a very good deal.

Mine was $291 including shipping with insurance. I used a CC.
It is .177 and I love it!

Same price, except I got charged NC sales tax as well. Their site states the text below, but if you got the discount with the credit card, even better.
Certain payments including payments by credit card do not receive the 3% cash discount. Our listed prices are only for cash payment types, such as personal checks, checks, e-check/ACH and money orders. If you pay with a non-cash tender type, then your total will reflect the full retail price.
Especially as the e-check takes longer to clear. Mine just went to shipping today.
Glad to hear you got a good one. :D

I hope you both enjoy them as much as I am enjoying mine. I really am glad I took a chance on the very last .177 ATI had on the "no warranty" parts gun deal. Other than the missing accessories which I've already replaced and a very small overnight leak, mine is as new. In fact, I would be very happy paying what you folks paid for it.
I think the .177 is a great choice for this gun. Almost all of my PCP guns are .22 and bigger. I can shoot 10 accurate shots at 25 - 40 yds at 12+ fpe (low power setting) and pump the gun 17 times to get back to 3k.
Next line of testing for me will be tank filling to 3600, setting at high power and stretching it out to 60yds or so. It's just too dang hot out to enjoy it right now.

Shoot from the comfort of your air conditioned SUV 8)

Do what I do Bill, shoot through the window of an air conditioned room, or warm room in the winter.

Yes it takes about a week to clear and Buds ships 1-2 days after that. So it will take at least 2 weeks before it's at your door. That's the price we pay to save 3%.

Hey, have you been watching me? I have 2 windows with "kill zones" that are safe to shoot in.
One from my desk (needs a box on the desk as a rest) and one from the hall (I use a step ladder with padding in various places), but I never or rarely shoot free hand.
I can do it free hand, but I am dead nuts accurate with some sort of rest! ;D
I live in an urban area and shooting from inside masks the noise. With the Nova Vista Freedom and DIY LDC, that really is not much of a concern anymore!

Ordered my Freedom from Bud's Gun Shop on a Sunday, was at my door (UPS was late 7:30pm) on Tuesday!

Ordered a couple Gauntlet .177 mags for mine from Buds. I don't remember exactly but shipping was fast. IIRC I even got them a day early.
